Free two-week training program, plus an eight-week paid job placement with a local employer
This program provides participants with the basic skills and safety training they need to start a career as a construction craft labourer.
Who should take this program?
Anyone looking to start a career in the trades who has limited or no experience in the trades.
In-class dates
September 16 to September 27, 2024 (program full) – Cambridge Member Centre (45 Commerce Court, Cambridge, ON N3C 4P7)
October 21 to November 1, 2024 – Cambridge Member Centre (45 Commerce Court, Cambridge, ON N3C 4P7)
During the program, participants will have ten days of online, in-class, and hands-on training and will learn about:
Participants will also earn mandatory safety certificates, including Working at Heights, Elevating Work Platforms, WHMIS 2015, and more.
