What do I need to bring?

Just a water bottle. Tools, PPE, and lunch are all provided.

Is there a specific trade you teach?

No, this is for entry level construction workers.

Is taking the training courses every day necessary?

Yes. The in-class training provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to perform your paid job placement properly and safely.

How does the Bootcamp program work?

It starts with a two-week training program that includes online and in-class training. After you complete the training, we will set you up with a construction job with a local employer. You must complete the training program to get a job placement.

What happens after the eight-week job placement?

Construction companies are looking for workers. It is possible that you will continue on with that employer full-time. We also have a CLAC Jobs program and will be happy to assist you in finding further construction jobs.

What if I don’t have a home computer?

If you do not have access to a computer, we can assist you with that.

What kind of construction job will you place me in?

We have access to several employers looking for workers. You will be placed in an entry level construction position.
